Off-campus access

Digital library resources refer to official online publications such as database, electronic periodicals and E-books that are issued by domestic and foreign publishers, and the library has bought the right of access to these publications through campus network. The library requests all units and individuals who use these resources to observe relevant regulations on the intellectual property of these digital resources, for the purpose of protecting the intellectual property of digital resources, and guaranteeing all users’ legitimate rights and interests.

1. Any downloading of the library-subscribed electronic resources by any software tools is prohibited.

2. Any operation such as downloading, browsing and retrieving the database in a continuous, systematic, centralized and batched way is prohibited. (The library has no uniform regulations on “misuse”, for misuse has not been uniformly and clearly defined by database suppliers. Database suppliers generally deem that downloading documents at a rate higher than normal reading speed is misuse. Normally, reading a document as least takes several minutes.)

3. Any action such as exposing library documents to outsides, letting outsiders use your personal reading account to access to our digital resources, and using library documents for illegal profits is forbidden.

4. No school members can set proxy servers to lead or download the digital resources.
